radio telescopes are specialized telescopes that are used to observe radio waves from space. optical telescopes observe visible light, radio telescopes are designed to detect radio emissions from celestial objects, including stars, galaxies, and pulsars. These emissions are typically in the microwave region of the electromagnetic spectrum and are much longer in wavelength than the light we can see with our eyes.
