The 'Product of Our Time' series is an open-ended project in various mediums ranging from mixed media to printmaking techniques. The work addresses the societal anxiety and psychological collapse currently being experienced in American culture.
Artist and Educator.
My art is an exercise of interpretation, of exploring the inner world of the subject. We are currently experiencing a period of fragmentation and upheaval in our norms, beliefs and identity, causing humanity great cultural distress and personal existential turmoil. I attempt to reveal something not readily identifiable, to translate emotions simmering just below surface of the model or subject, to bring the interior to the exterior.
