This series of 3D sculptures is about how trans people are seen by society. Often, we are scrutinized due to our outward appearance but that is not the whole truth. With this series I wanted to destroy the idea of the body as an induction of trans identity. By removing the body, we are forced to deal with the raw intangible feeling of being trans, the complex beauty and pain of it. Those are the important parts.
