This piece was done for West Magazine. The article was about a serial killer named Earle Leonard Nelson. The story was a little gruesome and the AD preferred not to focus on the details. She already had an idea of image which eludes to a wolf in sheep's clothing as Nelson first appears to his potential victims as a bible toting christian. Many thanks to Teresa for the great project to work on! Thank you for stopping by!

This piece was done for Chicago Reader. The article was about the man who is disturbed, possibly to the point of insanity because the mother of his child has moved in with his former best friend. He tries to get attention of people but they do not care about him anymore. It was a very challenging project and the deadline was very tight. I was happy to be able to deliver the final on time. Thank you Paul for the great project to work on! Thank you for stopping by. More to come soon!

This piece is done for a face card project. My theme/card was the King of Spades. Since this year's Chinese zodiac is tiger, I decided to incorporate it in this piece. I tried to combine some new elements in the piece and I really enjoyed working on it. I will definitely let you know when I receive more information about the show! Thank you for stopping by!

This piece was done for Earth Island Journal Magazine. The article was about society’s changing relationship with nature: how modern people are falling back in love with the natural world and being re-enchanted with nature. I created 4 different versions of finals with different backgrounds (I posted 2 images here) and the one with blue background was selected. Many thanks to Amy for the wonderful project to work on. Thank you for stopping by and more to come soon!

These illustrations were done for How Magazine. The article was about "Anti office". Technology that makes it increasingly easy for designers to work just about anywhere. The toughest part of this assignment was to find the way to combine the traditional office setting and natural environment together. Thank you Bridgid for the great project to work on!

I have mentioned about ADCC student competition finalists couple months ago and there was an awards ceremony yesterday. It was their 60th annual award and I felt fortunate to be able to participate in this memorable ceremony. This award consists of numerous categories such as Advertising, Graphic design, Interactive, and Editorial design. I was very honored to receive Silver Award from ADCC Student Competition for "Restoring what is lost". Thank you so much for this incredible honor!

I received the award certificates and annual book after the ceremony.

This beautiful book cover was illustrated by Ben Weeks! He came to Sheridan College for the portfolio review when I was in 4th year and he is such a nice / talented artist. It was such an incredible night... Now back to reality and time to do more work!
